ABOUT NOTTINGHAM COMHALTAS

Comhaltas Ceoltoiri Eireann is a cultural movement concerned with the promotion and preservation of the traditional music, dance and language of Ireland. The Nottingham CCE branch was established in 1975 and continues to run traditional Irish music lessons and sessions at the Nottingham Irish Centre.

We currently run lessons in concertina, bodhran, and tin whistle, but if you are interested in learning to play flute, fiddle, button/piano accordion, or mandolin then please do get in touch and we will endeavor to arrange something for you.

We also run regular Irish music sessions at the Irish Centre on Tuesday evenings. All are welcome to come along and play or listen.
